What a weekend....

We just got back from a crazy weekend in Chicago visiting Kates brother and sister in law Nate and Kristy and there two kids Lexi, and Ellie. Ben and Audrey drove all the way from Atl, and we drove with Kates mom and dad. Nate was graduating with his MBA from Kellogg School of Management @ Northwestern University -One of the best in the WORLD-

Big congrats to Nate, that is an amazing accomplishment, we are all so proud of you!
Here is a picture of Ben, Nate, and Katie

We had a great weekend and it was great to see all of our family. Braily got to play with her cousins, the Boys got to play some golf, and the girls did a little shopping. We wished we all lived a little closer so we could have more weekends just like this. We love and miss you guys and can't wait to do it again. Here are some pictures from this past weekend.

Quote

I heard this quote the other day and thought I would share it with you.
"When you have a boy you only have to worry about one boy in this world, but when you have a girl you have to worry about EVERY boy in this world"
Wow that's a wake up call!

Katie's 26 Birthday!!!

This past Saturday was my beautiful wife's 26th b-day, so I planned a little get away for the both of us. We woke up Saturday morning and I went out and got some Jubillee donuts and coffee for Katie and I. It's a tradition that Katie has always gotten a donut on her birthday, even since she was a kid. Never the less we ate them up and here is what was left..

After that, we dropped Braily off at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a sleep over. This was the first time in 9 1/2 months that Braily would be without us for the night, so we were a little nervous, but knew she was in good hands.

So, I took Katie to Little Italy in Cleveland. For those of you who don't know where that is, it is on the east side about 15 min out from downtown. They were having an Art Walk Weekend in this little part of town that has lots of artists and Italian restaurants and shops. So you grab a coffee and a peperoni roll, as we did, and walk the area shopping and listening to Italian music from every shop. We didn't buy anything but it was very cool to see. We did stop at a little cafe where Katie introduced me to "gelato" which is like ice cream but really creamy.. i guess. Katie ate it when she was in Spain. Here is a pic of my first taste mmmm.
And Katie mad that I took the first bite! Ahhaa
We then headed to our Hotel downtown and relaxed before dinner. Katie got all dolled up and we headed to the House of Blues for dinner, and then to the movies to see Sex and The City, Kate's favorite. We had a great time downtown at night and sleeping in the next morning. It was a great little getaway!!

IT'S A NEW CAR!!

Or SUV whatever you want to call it, but it's ours and it Kate's new baby mobile. You will see her taking it to the grocery store, taking it to the spa, taking it to work, and soon to come, taking our 2 kids everywhere.

We decided that the Saturns we both drive weren't going to cut it when our second girl arrives, so we had to eliminate one. Since mine has more miles we are going to sell it.. bye bye "white heat" not sure why I call it that but that's its name. We have had the new car for a little over a week now and really love it. It is a Ford Escape and gives us a lot more room for STUFF... I even hooked up our bike rack, strapped the bikes on and we went for a ride this past weekend on the towpath. Here is a picture of Braily on the back of my bike with her helmet on ready to ride!

The Results Are In.....

It's another GIRL!!! What? yep that's right the doc said she was 80% sure even though she couldn't get a really clear shot. Our baby weight just under 12oz and looks completely healthy.

Wow two girls this close in age, what is a dad to do? I just keep imaging these girls about 13 or 14 years old pulling each others hair out, screaming with their moms voice, and throwing makeup around the house.
That is not a good picture..

I'm sure I'll survive it somehow.
